Paroxetine Administration
Oral Administration
- All oral dosage forms: Usually administered as a single dose in the morning. May be administered without regard to meals, however, food may minimize GI adverse effects.
- Oral suspension: Shake well before using. Measure dosage with an oral syringe or calibrated measuring device.
- Controlled-release tablets: Swallow whole, do not cut, chew, or crush. Do not administer concomitantly with antacids; the tablets are enteric-coated.
