Lexapro (Escitalopram) Administration
Oral Administration
- Escitalopram is administered orally once daily, in the morning or evening, with or without food. If nausea is problematic, each dose may be taken after a meal.
- Take each dose with a full glass of water.
- Tablets: If needed, tablets are scored and may be cut in half.
- Oral solution: Measure dosage with an oral syringe or calibrated measuring device.
