Clarinex (Desloratadine) Administration
Oral Administration
- Tablets: Administer orally with or without a meal. Swallow tablets whole, do not chew. Store at room temperature, 2-25 degrees C (36-77 degrees F). Avoid excessive heat > 30 degrees C (86 degrees F); do not freeze.
- Disintegrating Tablets: Administer by placing on the tongue. The tablet will dissolve rapidly until it can be swallowed in the saliva. Food or water do not affect bioavailability. Store at room temperature 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F).
- Oral syrup (0.5 mg/ml): Measure dose using a calibrated oral syringe, cup, or dropper.
