Oral Administration
- Phentermine is administered orally. Low-dose phentermine hydrochloride should be administered one-half hour before meals or 1-2 hours after meals. The resin complex and high-dose phentermine hydrochloride should be administered in the morning before breakfast or approximately 2 hours after breakfast. Avoid late evening administration because of the possibility of insomnia.
