Luvox (Fluvoxamine) Administration and Monitoring Parameters
Oral Administration
- May administer without regard to meals.
- To minimize side effects, administer at bedtime. Doses greater than 100 mg/day (or > 50 mg/day in pediatric patients 8 - 17 years) should be administered in two divided doses; if the doses are not equal, the larger dose should be given at bedtime.

What are simvastatin tablets?
SIMVASTATIN (Zocor®) blocks the body’s ability to make cholesterol. Simvastatin can help lower blood cholesterol for patients who are at risk of getting heart disease or a stroke. It is only for patients whose cholesterol level is not controlled by diet. Generic simvastatin tablets are not yet available.

What are fluvoxamine tablets?
FLUVOXAMINE (Luvox®) helps people with an obsessive-compulsive disorder. It relieves the anxiety and unpleasant thoughts that make a person repeat everyday tasks (like hand-washing). Fluvoxamine is also used as an antidepressant, and may be used to treat other conditions such as panic disorder, premenstrual syndrome, or traumatic stress. Generic fluvoxamine tablets are available.

Zocor Administration and Monitoring Parameters
Zocor (Simvastatin) Administration
NOTE: Patients receiving simvastatin therapy should also be placed on a standard cholesterol-lowering diet, and this diet should be continued throughout therapy. Serum lipoprotein concentrations should be determined periodically and dosage adjusted according to individual response and established treatment guidelines.
